I am a professionally trained teacher with over thirty (30) years teaching experience – with nine (9) years at a University level, where I have risen to the rank of a Deputy Campus Director in charge of Finance, Administration & Planning, and twenty one (21) years at high school level. I have also had two (2) years working experience with an International Company dealing with varied construction ventures.


As a lecturer and administrator, l have mentored many students through career advice, counseling, teaching, empowering, mentoring and academic supervision. My interactions with both large and small groups have greatly sharpened my communication and people handling skills. The teaching and researching, especially at university level, have exposed me to a wide range of approaches in dealing with various conflicting and disturbing situations among people both in college and the outside world. Further, lam a motivational speaker through which l help give direction to the youth and other target groups.


I was the chairman of the Trans Nzoia University Students’ Association (TRUSSA) for a period of three (3) years in a row. I have previously served on the Board of Management of Boma Secondary school – Kitale as member. I have also served on the Board of Directors of Trans Nzoia Teachers’ Housing Co-operative Society Ltd as an Honorary Secretary for a period of six (6) years continuously. I have attended a course in family life, the knowledge of which l use in helping the youth as to how to lead a meaningful life.


Currently, I am the chairman of the Trans Nzoia Council of Professionals (TCP).

I have two (2) publications in international journals; have successfully supervised two (2) postgraduate students and currently supervising others.
