The Secretary for Conservation in the State Department for Wildlife, Dr. John Chumo, on 10th April 2026 represented the Principal Secretary in leading a tree planting exercise at Kafu during which 10,000 indigenous tree seedlings were planted as part of efforts to promote environmental conservation and restore forest cover.
