Message from the Director

The Directorate of International Relations and Academic Linkages (DIRAL)at Kaimosi Friends University (KAFU)was established in 2019 with the sole responsibility of overseeing matters of partnerships, collaborations, and linkages with like-minded organizations and institutions with the sole purpose of improving the University’s image both locally and globally. The Directorate, therefore, plays an integral role in ensuring that the University’s mission of providing quality training, research, and innovation to meet the needs of dynamic society staff is realized. DIRAL is dedicated to serving as the link between the academia and the non-academic community by developing services and delivering programs to facilitate student and staff engagement for their personal growth and for the good of society at large.

We believe that it is through linkages, collaborations, and partnerships that foster international awareness and deeper understanding of current emerging issues such as Food Security, Climate Change, and Epidemic diseases that can be addressed accordingly. The University, through DIRAL, initiates, implements, and sustains collaborations with partners across the world to produce innovative research, deliver innovative teaching and learning, and create opportunities for students and staff to gain international experience through exchange programs.
