“On behalf of the University Council, Senate, Management, staff and students, I would like to take this opportunity to most sincerely thank His Excellency the President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto for nominating Dr. Jane Imbunya to the position,” he said.
The region was previously used to nominations coming from the big universities. However, this time, His Excellency the President has honoured a very young University, Kaimosi Friends University.
Kaimosi Friends University has steadily grown to a current student population of 6,000, and looking forward to welcoming an additional more than 3,000 students in the upcoming intake. This growth is a direct result of the commitment to becoming a world-class university of excellence in teaching, research, and community service.
Moreover, the tranquility that pervades our university and the positive relationship we share with the community are vital factors in our success.
“As we the University continue to work towards its goal of becoming a world-class University of Excellence in Teaching, Research, and Community Service, take pride in Dr. Imbunya’s appointment as a shining example of the caliber of leadership emerging from Kaimosi Friends University.” Said Prof. Mwita.
