Kaimosi Friends University (KAFU) has today unveiled a new executive bus aimed at improving the institution's transportation services for students and staff. The state-of-the-art vehicle was officially handed over by Isuzu Company to the university management during a ceremony held at the university marking a significant milestone in the university's efforts to streamline campus mobility.
The new bus, which is fully equipped with modern amenities, will help meet the growing demand for reliable transportation for university students. Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor of KAFU, Prof. Peter Mwita, expressed his excitement, emphasizing the bus's importance in addressing logistical challenges faced by students and staff.
"We believe this bus will greatly enhance the overall students experience, as we continue to grow, we have also acquired another 67 seater bus that will be availed in the month of April. It is vital that we invest in infrastructure that supports both academic and extracurricular activities." Said Prof. Thomas Kipkurgat, the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Administration Finance, Planning and Development.
The new executive bus is now part of a larger initiative at Kaimosi Friends University to improve campus facilities and ensure that both students and staff are supported in every aspect of their educational journey.
