STRENGTHENING QUALITY ASSURANCE AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AT KAIMOSI FRIENDS UNIVERSITY

QAMS TRAINING

Kaimosi Friends University hosted a training program from April 2nd to April 5th, 2024, aimed at fortifying the institution's commitment to quality assurance and management systems. The four-day training gathered newly appointed Heads of Departments, Sections, Deans, Directors, and internal quality Auditors, underscoring KAFU's dedication to ensuring top-notch service delivery to its clientele.

The opening of the training was marked by an address from the acting Vice Chancellor of KAFU, Prof Peter Mwita. He emphasized the significance of the training, urging participants to approach it with utmost seriousness and align themselves with globally recognized standards to better serve the university's stakeholders.

Among the distinguished attendees was Dr. Fozia Nurwin, the Director of Quality Assurance and Management Systems at KAFU, highlighting the institution's top-level commitment to the training's objectives.

Facilitating the sessions was a seasoned expert from Murang'a University, Dr. Stephen Kahara, ensuring that participants received guidance in accordance with established benchmarks and best practices.

This comprehensive training initiative underscores KAFU's positive approach to enhancing service quality and upholding excellence in all aspects of its operations. As the newly trained leadership assumes their roles, KAFU moves forward with strengthened confidence in its ability to meet and exceed the expectations of its valued clientele and entrench the ISO 9001:2015 standards in it processes and subsequent maintenance of the certification
