KAIMOSI FRIENDS UNIVERSITY SHINES BRIGHT IN THE KENYA UNIVERSITIES PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL

In a dazzling display of talent and dedication, Kaimosi Friends University emerged triumphant at the recent Kenya Universities Performing Arts Festival held at the Technical University of Mombasa. Hosted under the esteemed patronage of the Ministry of Education and the State Department for Higher Education and Research, this festival brought together 27 universities from across the nation for a celebration of music, dance, and elocution, featuring over 139 classes.

Amidst stiff competition, the KAFU team captivated audiences and judges alike, clinching an impressive four trophies and certificates across all categories they participated in. Their stellar performance not only garnered accolades but also earned them a prestigious invitation to showcase their talent in the rendition of the East African Anthem at a gala performance.

The reception at KAFU was nothing short of jubilant, as the team was welcomed with pomp and color by the university's esteemed leaders, including Dr. Bernadette Mungai, the Council Chair, and Prof. Peter Mwita, the acting Vice Chancellor. A heartfelt luncheon hosted by the acting Vice Chancellor served as a fitting tribute to the team's hard work and dedication.

Dr. Bernadette Mungai, in her capacity as the KAFU Council Chair, expressed gratitude to the team and emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in nurturing talent. Prof. Peter Mwita commended the team for their selflessness and outstanding achievement, noting their significant contribution in elevating KAFU's standing in the performing arts community.
