Prof. Kelvin Kabeti Omieno is founding and Current Dean, School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT), Kaimosi Friends University (KAFU) since February 2019. Prof. Omieno has acquired over 6 years of hands-on administrative experience in higher management in Kenya. He has been member of the University Senate and MMUST Senate since Feb 2019 and August 2014 respectively. In 2014 he was appointed Chairman of Department of Computer Science, MMUST. In December 2016, Prof. Omieno was appointed Founding Dean, School of Computing and Informatics (in Acting Capacity), MMUST a position he held till January 2019. Prof. Omieno has served as a chairman and member in several other academic and non-academic appointment
