Prof. Fred Anangwe Amimo is a distinguished biological scientist and a leading figure in the field of insect science. Prof. Amimo holds a PhD in Entomology from Michigan State University, an MSc in Zoology from Kenyatta University, and a BSc in Biology from Andrews University. His academic excellence has been recognized internationally through prestigious awards, including the Fulbright Scholarship Award (2002) and the Fulbright Distinguished Scholar (2007). In a testament to his significant contributions to the scientific community, he was recently ranked among the top 1,000 Kenyan scientists (2022-2023).
