The School of Education and Social Sciences has four Departments. They are;
Department of Languages and Literature
Explore the Department of Languages and Literature at Kaimosi Friends University. Specializing in literature, Kiswahili, French and English and Linguistics, we offer Master's, and Bachelor's programmes designed to inspire teachers, critical thinkers and effective communicators. Department of Social Sciences
The Department of Social Sciences delves into human behavior, societal structures, and global systems to foster responsive policies and informed citizenship. Study Criminology, Social Work, Religion, History, Geography, and Diplomacy through well-rounded programmes that prepare you for impactful careers in public and global service.
We pride ourselves on producing graduates prepared for careers in teaching, university lecturing, administration, and social work. Our strategic vision (2021–2025) aims to evolve the department into a full School of Arts and Social Sciences (SASS) with four distinct units:
- Department of Religion, Philosophy and Theology
- Department of Geography and Environmental Science
- Department of History, Political Science and Public Administration
- Department of Criminology, Social Work, and Disaster Management
Each envisioned department will nurture new programmes, strengthen faculty, and enhance scholarly output. The cahir of this department is Dr. Tom Mong'are Nyangwoka.
Department of Education Foundation, Psychology and Mangement
This department focuses on the foundational and psychological principles that drive effective teaching, learning, and institutional management. Pursue your passion for educational leadership and psychology at the EFPM Department, Kaimosi Friends University. We offer specialized degrees in educational psychology, early childhood education, and religious studies. The chair of the department is Dr. Constance M. Amusala
Department of Curriculumn and Instruction
