African Canadian Continuing Education Society (ACCESS Kenya) executives visited the University today. The team was led by Executive Director Kevin Fadum and included board members Anthony Mutevane (Program Manager) and Otinga Jacob (Assistant Coordinator). The team was received by Vice Chancellor Prof. Ogodo and Dean of Students, Charles Obiero.

ACCESS Kenya provides support to students in the western region and currently sponsors 14 students in various schools of the University, including Education and Social Sciences, Computing and Information Technology, Business and Economics, and Science. The Executive Director, Kevin Fadum, announced plans to extend support to the School of Health Sciences.

The University appreciates ACCESS Kenya's support for bright, needy students and recognizes the role the charity is playing in easing financial constraints for students and helping them realize their career dreams. ACCESS Kenya, a registered charity, has been providing scholarships to underprivileged post-secondary students in Kenya since 1993 and aims to alleviate poverty through education.
