KAFU Library Receives STEM Books Donation

Dr. apima book donation

The Kaimosi Friends University Library has received a significant boost in diversity through a generous book donation. Dr. Samwel Apima, Chair of the Department of Mathematics, donated a collection of more than 100 books primarily focused on mathematics, chemistry, physics, computing, and engineering. These valuable resources enhance KAFU’s vibrant library, providing extended access to course materials and research resources for both learners and scholars.

Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Peter Mwita officially received the donation during a University Senate meeting on July 8, 2024. Prof. Mwita expressed his gratitude to Dr. Apima for this thoughtful contribution, emphasizing the crucial role that university faculty play in advancing knowledge within the academic community.

At KAFU, we believe that access to quality educational materials is essential for nurturing intellectual curiosity and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. This donation aligns perfectly with our institution’s core values, and we are committed to furthering our mission of producing well-rounded graduates equipped to make a positive impact in society.
