Victor Shikuku is a senior lecturer of chemistry in the Department of Physical Sciences at Kaimosi Friends University. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and post-doctoral research experience at Trier University (Germany). His work includes developing low-cost materials for water purification, Eco-cements, biodegradation of pesticides and other organics in soil, and Pesticides. He won the 2024 National Outstanding Researcher Award (NORA) by the Kenya National Research Fund (NRF) under Young Scientists Category. He is the founder of the chemezzy App (https://chemezzy.co.ke/), a pioneering digital chemistry education platform aimed at enhancing the teaching and learning of chemistry in Kenya.
