Kaimosi Friends University recorded one of the most inspiring performances in Kenyan university sports history after finishing Second Overall in Africa at the WFDF 2025 All-Africa Ultimate Frisbee Championship held at the Kampala International School (KISU) Field in Uganda.
The high-profile tournament, which ran from October 9 to 12, brought together elite university and club teams from across the continent. Despite being considered underdogs, KAFU produced a dominant show in Pool B, sweeping all their matches with remarkable consistency and tactical brilliance.
Team captain and players of Kaimosi Friends University proudly lift the Silver Trophy at the WFDF 2025 All-Africa Ultimate Frisbee Championship.
From the very first whistle, KAFU displayed exceptional composure, defeating Bukavu of DR Congo 15–10 in a thrilling opener. They went on to overcome home favourites Impala FC (Uganda) 11–7 before edging Vikings Uganda 9–6 in a tight contest. KAFU sealed their perfect run with a commanding 8–0 victory over Entebbe Bull Sharks, cementing their place in the final stages.
Their electrifying style of play, teamwork and resilience impressed coaches, fans and officials across Africa. With each win, the team proudly flew both the KAFU flag and the Kenyan national flag, symbolizing national pride and rising sporting excellence.
