General Admission Requirements
To be admitted into an undergraduate program at KAFU, applicants must meet the following general criteria based on the level of study:
| PROGRAMME | MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS |
| Bachelor’s Degree | Minimum Mean Grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or its equivalent; OR a relevant Diploma from a recognized institution. (Note: Specific clusters apply for professional courses). |
| Diploma Programmes | Minimum Mean Grade of C- (minus) at KCSE or its equivalent; OR a relevant Certificate from a recognized institution. |
| Certificate Programmes | Minimum Mean Grade of D+ (plus) or D (plain) at KCSE depending on the specific course requirements. |

Application Procedure
Applications for undergraduate studies at KAFU can be completed through one of two methods:
- Online Application (Recommended): Visit the official KAFU admissions platform at kafu.jiunge.com. Sign up, select your preferred programme, and follow the prompts to upload documents.
- Manual Application: Download the Undergraduate Application Form from the university website. Fill it out in block letters and attach certified copies of your KCSE result slip/certificate and National ID.
Application Fees (Non-Refundable):
Bachelors Degree: KES 1,000
Diploma & Certificate: KES 500
NOTE: Payments are made via the e-Citizen/Jiunge platform as per the university’s current guidelines.

If you have been placed at KAFU via KUCCPS, please visit our Joining Instructions page to download your Admission Letter and the mandatory registration forms (KAF/1 – KAF/7).
