The function was presided over by Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning John Mbadi, who underscored the importance of investing in women-led initiatives as a pathway to economic growth and social development.

He highlighted the importance of collaboration between government agencies, universities and local leadership in creating sustainable solutions that address socio-economic challenges faced by communities.
