Today, 23 March 2026, Kaimosi Friends University hosted members of the Counsellors and Psychologists Board under the Ministry of Health for a stakeholder consultative meeting and sensitisation on the indexing of KAFU students pursuing counselling and psychology-related courses, in line with the Board’s mandate.

The team, led by David Mahinda, was received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Student Affairs and Research), Prof. Fred Amimo.

The envisioned partnership between Kaimosi Friends University and the Counsellors and Psychologists Board under the Ministry of Health will fast-track the licensing of students graduating from counselling and psychology-related programmes, a move that will safeguard their professional practice.
