The 4th SGC elections mark a transition in leadership from the 3rd Council (previously led by Chairman Elumbe Xavier). These elections are conducted under the Universities Amendment Act (2016), involving a delegate system. The election will be conducted on 9th – 10th February 2026 at Governor’s Hall Polling Station
Elective Positions (SGC Executive)
As per the KAFUSA Constitution, the following executive seats are up for election:
- Chairperson
- Vice-Chairperson (Must be of the opposite gender from the Chairperson)
- Secretary General
- Treasurer (Finance Secretary)
- Academic Secretary
- Sports & Entertainment Secretary
- Social Welfare & Special Interests Secretary
