Dr. Moses Osia Mwanje born on 5th May 1973 is an independent member of Council. He is a distinguished education and development leader with over 20 years of experience across public service, international NGOs, and the private sector. He brings strong expertise in strategic leadership, education systems strengthening, policy formulation, and partnership and grant management, with a proven record of translating policy and research into measurable impact. His work has positively influenced more than 720,000 farmers, supported learning and welfare in over 660 primary schools, and strengthened hundreds of community and faith-based institutions, with a strong focus on children, youth, women, and other vulnerable groups.
Currently serving as Business Development and Partnership Lead at the Cereal Growers Association, Dr. Mwanje mobilizes and manages multi-donor programmes advancing sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, youth employment, and school feeding systems.
Previously, as a County Executive Committee Member, he oversaw agriculture and education portfolios, contributing to national and donor-supported reforms. A PhD holder in Strategic Management, he is widely published and respected for inclusive leadership, mentorship, and values-driven governance.
