Dr. Lilian Cherotich Ronoh is an experienced university lecturer and administrator, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science in the School of Computing and Information Technology at Kaimosi Friends University. She previously served as the Coordinator for Open and Distance e-Learning (ODeL) in the Directorate for three years, where she contributed to strengthening digital learning and academic programme delivery. She also has prior teaching experience as a Tutorial Fellow at Gretsa University.
She holds a PhD in Information Technology from Kibabii University (2025), a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (2015), and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Kenya Methodist University (2011).
Dr. Ronoh teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Information Technology and is actively involved in supervising student research. She has strong expertise in teaching, curriculum development, research, and student mentorship, and is committed to delivering high-quality instruction, fostering academic excellence, and contributing to institutional growth. She continues to contribute to advancing knowledge through active research, publication, and collaboration in Information Technology. Her research interests focus on digital transformation, emerging technologies, ICT4D, data-driven systems, and technology integration in education. She has an established research profile with several peer-reviewed publications in her fields of interest.
