Programme Overview

The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is a comprehensive four-year program providing a solid foundation in business and commerce, followed by specialization in a chosen discipline. Combines theoretical knowledge with practical, industry-relevant skills to prepare graduates for dynamic careers or further postgraduate study in the global business environment. Years 1 & 2 – Common Core: Accounting, Economics, Management, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, Business Law, Communication & IT. Years 3 & 4 – Specialization in one area: Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Operations & Information Systems Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

Entry Requirements

KCSE: Minimum aggregate C+, and C (Plain) in both Mathematics /Business Studies and English/Kiswahili. OR KACE: At least two principal passes and a credit (6) in Mathematics at KCE. OR Diploma from a recognized institution. OR Professional qualifications: CPA, CPS, CIFA, ACCA, CHRP, CPSP Part II, or equivalent.

  • Industry-Aligned Curriculum: Includes ERP systems, data analytics, and financial modeling tools.
  • Professional Pathways: Aligns with certifications like CIFA, CPA, CHRP, CPSP.
  • Research Project: Real-world problem-solving in chosen specialization.

Soft Skills

  • Flexible Delivery: Available online/on-campus; CUE-accredited; clear progression to advanced degrees.
