Where Creativity, Heritage and Talent Come Alive

Kaimosi Friends University is not only a centre of academic excellence but also a vibrant hub of artistic expression and cultural celebration. At KAFU, creativity thrives through diverse cultural expressions. Students showcase their talents in music, drama, dance, debate, spoken word and visual arts that celebrate Kenya’s rich heritage while promoting unity within the University community.

Arts and culture at KAFU are not extracurricular activities. They are powerful platforms for identity, confidence, leadership, and national consciousness.

Tamasha Music and Talent Showcases

One of the most anticipated events on the KAFU calendar is Tamasha, a vibrant celebration of student talent and artistic excellence.

During Tamasha events, students showcase:

  • Live band performances
  • Solo and group vocal presentations
  • Traditional and contemporary dance
  • Spoken word and poetry
  • Creative choreography

Tamasha has become a signature platform where students confidently express their creativity while strengthening unity and campus identity.

It is a celebration of rhythm, colour, and youthful energy.

Debate and Intellectual Expression

At KAFU, arts also include the art of reasoning.

The University supports debate forums and intellectual discussions that sharpen students’ critical thinking and public speaking skills. Through debate competitions and dialogue forums, students:

  • Engage in national and global issues
  • Develop persuasive communication skills
  • Strengthen research and analytical capacity
  • Build confidence in public engagement

Debate culture prepares students not only for academic success but also for leadership in governance, law, education, and public service.
