Overview

The Bachelor of Disaster Management and International Diplomacy at Kaimosi Friends University is a specialized four year programme designed to prepare professionals to manage disasters and lead humanitarian response at local regional and global levels. The programme combines disaster risk management with international relations diplomacy and humanitarian action.

You will gain practical and analytical skills to respond to emergencies coordinate relief efforts engage in diplomacy and support communities in times of crisis while contributing to peacebuilding and sustainable development.

Programme Aim

The programme aims to;
• Equip students with knowledge and skills in disaster risk management and emergency response
• Develop capacity for humanitarian action and crisis coordination
• Prepare graduates for roles in diplomacy international relations and peacebuilding
• Promote understanding of international law and disaster governance frameworks
• Prepare students to support resilient communities and sustainable recovery
