A professionally trained teacher with over thirty five (35) years teaching experience – with fifteen (15) years at a University level, where he rose to the rank of a Deputy Campus Director in charge of Finance, Administration & Planning. Administratively, I am a firm, hands on and results oriented transformative leader who embraces professionalism, team work and team spirit. I have had five years’ experience as University Campus Deputy Director in charge of Finance, Administration and Planning (FAP) where I successfully supervised the construction of a multi-million ultra-modern tuition block and spearheaded the formulation of a five-year strategic plan at Mount Kenya University, Kitale Campus.

As a lecturer and administrator, l have mentored many students through career advice, counseling, teaching, empowering, mentoring and academic supervision. My interactions with both large and small groups have greatly sharpened my communication and people handling skills. The teaching and research, especially at university level, have exposed me to a wide range of approaches in dealing with various conflicting and disturbing situations among people both in college and the outside world. Further, lam a motivational speaker through which l help give direction to the youth and other target groups. I have successfully gone through the Strategic Leadership Development Program (SLDP) training at the Kenya School of Government (KSG), which program has greatly sharpened my leadership skills.

I was the chairman of the Trans Nzoia Council of Professionals (TCP). I served on the Board of Management of Boma Secondary school – Kitale as member. I served on the Board of Directors of Trans Nzoia Teachers’ Housing Co-operative Society Ltd as an Honorary Secretary for a period of six (6) years continuously. I am currently serving on the Board of Management of Kabuyefwe Friends High School – Kitale.
I have eleven (11) publications in referred international journals and one (1) publication in a local university journal; have successfully supervised nine (9) postgraduate students and currently supervising others.
