Mr. David Mongosi Sigano born on 28th January 1990 is an independent member of Council. He is a distinguished legal executive, education advocate, and regional governance leader with extensive experience in law, policy, and institutional management across East Africa.

An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths, and Notary Public, he currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the East Africa Law Society (EALS), the largest professional legal membership body in the region with over 45,000 members. In this role, he provides strategic, financial, and programmatic leadership, oversees multi-million-dollar donor-funded projects, and drives thought leadership on democracy, rule of law, and human rights.

David has led major policy and legislative advocacy initiatives, strategic litigation before regional and continental courts, and capacity-building programmes for legal professionals across East Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law, with a Master of Laws and an MBA underway. Widely published and respected for principled leadership, he exemplifies values-driven governance, education, and institutional transformation.
