Dr. Tom Mong’are Nyagwoka is an accomplished scholar in the field of Religion with a wealth of experience in university teaching, research, academic administration, and mentorship. He currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Social Sciences at Kaimosi Friends University, overseeing diverse academic disciplines including Religion, History, Geography, Criminology, Social Work, and Disaster Management and International Diplomacy.

With extensive training from institutions in Kenya, Uganda, and the United States, Dr. Nyagwoka has distinguished himself in the scholarly exploration of theology, peace building, and religious dynamics in society. His work has significantly influenced the structure and strategic direction of the Social Sciences Department, which is projected to evolve into a full-fledged School of Arts and Social Sciences (SASS).
