1. General Admission Requirements
To be admitted into a postgraduate program, applicants must meet the following general criteria:

| Master’s Degree | Bachelor’s Degree with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in a relevant field. | OR, a Bachelor’s Degree with Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in a relevant field, plus at least two (2) years of relevant work experience. |
| Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) | Master’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university in a relevant area of study. |

3. Application Procedure
Applications for graduate studies at KAFU can typically be completed through one of two methods:
Online Application (Via Jiunge): This is the quickest and most direct method. You sign up on the platform, apply to KAFU, and pay the non-refundable application fee.
Manual Application: You can download, print, and manually fill out the GRADUATE STUDIES APPLICATION FORM.
Key Application Documents
When applying for Master’s or PhD studies, you will need:
The completed GRADUATE STUDIES APPLICATION FORM.
The REFEREE’S LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FORM (requires completion by referees).
Copies of your Secondary School certificate, degree certificate(s), and official academic transcripts.
A non-refundable application fee of approximately KES 2,000 for East African students (or the equivalent for non-East African students).
You are advised to contact the Directorate of Graduate Studies (DGS) or the Admissions Office for the most current application details, intake deadlines, and fee structure
