The Directorate of Quality Assurance and Management Systems (DQAMS) serves as the core institutional body ensuring excellence and integrity at Kaimosi Friends University. Formed in 2021 through a merger, DQAMS operates under two key sections—Quality Assurance (QA) for academic standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS), guided by ISO 9001:2015 principles, for process efficiency.
The primary mission of DQAMS is to ensure that all academic programs and operational processes meet or exceed national and international quality benchmarks, fostering a campus-wide culture of continuous improvement. This mandate includes:
- Academic Integrity: Guaranteeing the admission of qualified students and the delivery of market-driven, competency-based programs.
- Accountability: Conducting mandatory internal audits twice annually and coordinating external audits to validate ISO conformity and quality standards.
- Capacity Building: Investing in regular staff training on quality management standards and best practices in academic governance.
