 Prof. Thomas Kipkurgat is the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administration, Finance, Planning, and Development at Kaimosi Friends University. A distinguished scholar and leader, Professor Kipkurgat has a wealth of experience in academia, administration, and international collaborations.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University (USA), a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration both from Abilene Christian University (USA).

Prior to joining Kaimosi Friends University, Prof. Kipkurgat served as the Chief Executive Officer at Rivatex East Africa Limited, demonstrating his capacity for executive leadership and organizational development.

He possess extensive experience as Prof. of Moi University and Oklahoma State University and Texas Tech University, coupled with leadership as Director of International & Multicultural Linkages. A proven ability to excel in teaching, research, international collaborations, and program development across diverse cultural contexts.

His extensive experience in higher education includes serving as the Director of International Linkages at Moi University and, for over a decade, as the Director of International and Multicultural Linkages at Oklahoma State University (USA). In these roles, he cultivated and managed significant global partnerships and initiatives.

Professor Kipkurgat is an active participant in the global academic community, having attended and presented at numerous seminars, conferences, and workshops both in Kenya and internationally. His presentations span a range of critical areas, including transformative leadership, management strategies, and micro-enterprise development, reflecting his diverse expertise and commitment to knowledge sharing.
